Mixed review on this one, i needed a new drink cooler for moose season/ canoe trips so thought id steer away from Pelican USA and support Canadian - Chillymoose.ca, they state designed in Canada/ responsibly made in China, so i ordered it with the promotion they had going on and extra 10%
Thought it was a decent deal, cooler arrived today and i said to myself ive seen this cooler somewhere / not online.. it’s pretty much identical to the made4 cooler at Kent building supplies (kent.ca) they sell a 52L for 159$ reg price grey or white.

The cooler states its a 33L when the roto mold stamped at 35L
I feel the only designing that was involved was the 50 cent sticker added to a china made product & add a markup to a brand they built from original design coolers. This only applies to the new Cabin Series from what i can tell.

The size is perfect and I really like the design. The construction looks solid too. Time will tell how it holds up. I’ll mostly be using it from the car on search & rescue callouts.

My only negative is that the Chilly Moose decal on the front of the cooler was installed crooked. Once I noticed it I couldn’t unsee it.

I tried to reposition it but the decal came apart during removal.

Looks cleaner without it but it’s a lost marketing opportunity for Chilly Moose!

Tried out the cooler this weekend worked as advertised, great piece of kit. Would highly recommend this cooler.

I did a trial with 5 medium sized gel packs fresh out of the freezer in the cooler. I had it in the house at 26C, opened it 2x per day as you would if camping. Packs were completely thawed in 2 days.

Great quality! Keeps everything super cold for days worth every penny to invest in this cooler! Highly recommend after getting this we even bought a bigger one!

Très bonne glacière. Solide et ferme hermétiquement. Nous avons utilisé les blocs réfrigérants (couvercle et division) et des glaçons. Après 9 jours de camping, le lait était encore bon. Le panier intégré est très pratique.et c’est canadien en plus. La grise ne se salit pas.

Perfect size for a car and an amazing upgrade from the crappy old hollow plastic shell cooler I used to have. This actually keeps things cold.

Why not 5-stars?
Even though this is top quality and the perfect size for me, I'd have liked some other colour options. All of the other models have a great variety, this one? Two.
