Scouts Canda x Chilly Moose

Chilly Moose is proud to team up with Scouts Canada to help support two of their initiatives; the No One Left Behind program and Scouts for Sustainability.

No One Left Behind

In 2007, Scouts Canada launched the No One Left Behind program in an effort to ensure that every youth is provided with the opportunity to experience new adventures with a local Scouts Canada program. Through No One Left Behind, membership fees and related costs are subsidized for youth from families facing economic barriers. This program aims to provide even more youth with fun and memorable outdoor experiences, helping them achieve meaningful milestones that foster their development through life. In Scouts, kids benefit from a childhood filled with discovery and adventure.

No One Left Behind has grown considerably since it launched. The program was expanded in 2011, to include the funding of uniforms, outdoor equipment and camping experiences, through the Participation subsidy. Scouting is the perfect place for kids to prepare for the real world, by exploring the worldWhile Scouts helps kids grow personally, they also develop into exceptional team players and capable leaders.

Expanding horizons through outdoor exploration and fun challenges, Scouts are resilient and adaptable, embracing progress and exciting opportunities—new people, more friends, dynamic ideas, unique experiences.

On Thursday April 14th 2022 in collaboration with Scouts Canada, Chilly Moose launched a limited edition 20oz Scouts Canada Killarney Tumbler. $10 from the sale of each Special Edition 20oz Scouts Canada Killarney Tumbler directly funds the No One Left Behind Program.

Every young person deserves to experience the world of adventure, friendship and self-development that Scouting offers. With your support for No One Left Behind, we can prepare even more youth across the country for future success.

Scouts for Sustainability

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global plan for a better world and a brighter future. Created by the United Nations in 2015, SDGs encourage positive change across the world in three main areas—eliminating poverty, reducing inequalities and fighting climate change. Scouts for Sustainability works to integrate the 17 Sustainable Development Goals into Scouts Canada’s program— The Canadian Path. Essentially, Scouts for Sustainability connects the dots between the SDGs and the fun adventures that Scouts already do, demonstrating links between exciting Canadian Path activities and the learning outcomes that prioritize the environment and sustainability, lending a helping hand in the community, and thinking industriously.
